Ways to be kind to you
Many years ago I wrote a book (called Gateway to Grace) and I started by writing:
"Take the time / make the space / to go within / and feel the Grace"
And it's still true today. Especially when you think about being kind to you! Are you being kind to you? If you are feeling bad, I found out that this is a very good question to ask. Are you nurturing you? Are you taking care of you? People pleasers tend to take care of everyone else but themselves because they believe that this is the way to being "loving and kind". I've been there, done that... and I know it always ALWAYS backfires...
So why not give yourself some time and some space... why not make a list of things you can do for you - today - and do them!
Here's my list for today: Give myself time, give myself space, give myself understanding, give myself support, give myself love, give myself comfort, give myself acceptance, stop expecting me to be what I am not, slow down... take 15 minutes to meditate 2 times today... and just breathe and be here now!
